Carl L. Herrmann, Jr.
Chairman of The Board Member of The Operations Committee
Mr. Herrmann, Jr. was appointed as Chairman of The Board in January 2010 and is the Chairman and majority owner of WNC Insurance Services, Inc. Prior to acquiring WNC Insurance Services, Inc. in 1989, Mr. Herrmann, Jr. was President of Transamerica Financial Systems and Concepts, a position he held for five years after he sold his company, Insureco, Inc. to Transamerica Insurance Group in 1984.
Mr. Herrmann, Jr. founded Insureco, Inc. in 1969, and formulated a unique insurance concept now called Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) that was specifically designed for auto finance lenders and its borrowers.

As Chief Executive Officer and President of the Financial Services Division, Carl Herrmann III is responsible for the operations, direction and growth of WNC.

As Chief Executive Officer and President of the Financial Services Division, Carl Herrmann III is responsible for the operations, direction and growth of WNC. Through his extensive experience and knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry, he sees emerging trends, identifies new or hidden opportunities and initiates product and business alliance development to capitalize on such opportunities.
In his prior position as President and Chief Operating Officer of WNC First, Mr. Herrmann III was responsible for management and daily operations. During his eleven-year tenure as President, Mr. Herrmann III successfully negotiated major contracts that have generated more than $300 million in premiums.
Mr. Herrmann III's insurance industry career began in the early 1980s. He has been a licensed Insurance Agent since 1982 and is a trained Property and Casualty Adjuster. Before joining the company in 1991, a few of his executive duties while working at Insureco Insurance Services/ Transamerica Financial, included developing and managing the Lease Track System, managing positions in Sales Account Services and Research and Development. |

Norman G. Heinrich
President, Voluntary Division Member of The Board
As President of the Voluntary Division, Norman Heinrich is responsible for the management, marketing and development of Voluntary Flood programs administered out of the WNC First Miami office. His thirty plus years of Property and Casualty sales, marketing and underwriting experience have given Norman the expertise to develop, administer and underwrite Flood insurance programs for insurance companies, wholesalers and reinsurance partners.

Prior to joining WNC, Norman was the Director of Marketing and Flood operations for Capital Assurance Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Skandia Companies. His responsibilities included the marketing and sales functions for the Property and Casualty units and the marketing and underwriting functions for the Flood operations. The Flood operations included voluntary and NFIP flood programs.
Norman Heinrich holds a degree in Accounting from Florida International University and is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and a Surplus Lines insurance agent. |

Patrick M. Blandford
Managing Director of Strategy & Finance Member of The Board
Mr. Blandford is the Managing Director at CCCC Growth Fund and leads their investing activities. He also serves as the Managing Director of Strategy & Finance for WNC. He serves as Chairman of Source-44 and Gibraltar Capital Holdings and as a member of the board for WNC Insurance Services, Inc. and Alert Alarm of Hawaii.

Charles Franks
Chief Executive Officer, R J Kiln & Co Limited Member of The Board
Charles Franks became a Lloyd’s underwriter in 1986. He joined Kiln in 1993 as Deputy Underwriter for the Marine division with responsibility for the energy account.

Charles became a Director of R J Kiln & Co Limited in 1995 and Active Underwriter of the Marine & Special Risks Division in 2001. In 2007, Charles was appointed Chief Executive Officer of R J Kiln & Co Limited and in 2009 he also took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Kiln Group. |

James Dover is a chartered accountant. He joined R J Kiln & Co Limited in 2006 as Finance Director and he became Group Chief Financial Officer in 2010.

John P. Decker CFA
Member of The Board
John Decker’s business accomplishments include being the founder of two companies offering "mail order" financial services to consumers: Providian Corp (formerly First Deposit Corp.) in credit cards, and Paymap Inc. (formerly Aegis Mortgage Acceleration Corp) in EFT (electronic funds transfer) products. He is currently a Trustee of a public employees’ pension fund in Florida.

Mr. Decker served four years with the US Navy (Lieutenant). He graduated from Duke University (Engineering) and University of California Berkeley (MBA-Finance) and is a CFA. |
